1. Introduction

Welcome to Aurora Lusus ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website auroralusus.com (the "Site") and any VIP reservation you make for our upcoming board game. By accessing the Site or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Company Information

Aurora Lusus is a board game publisher registered in Ireland. For any enquiries, you can reach us at info@auroralusus.com.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:

• Infringe the rights of any third party.
• Restrict or inhibit any other user from using the Site.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems.
• Introduce malicious software, scripts, or code.

If you submit a Founder name for public display, you must not choose a name that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, impersonates another person, or infringes anyone's rights. We review submissions and may decline or remove any name at our discretion.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site at our discretion if these Terms are violated.

4. The VIP Reservation

For a one-time payment of €3, the VIP reservation secures three things: (1) permanent Founding Supporter status, with your chosen name displayed on our public Founding Supporters page; (2) the Kickstarter-exclusive sleeve pack at the founder price of €3 (in place of its higher price during the campaign); and (3) a reserved commemorative collector coin. The reservation is not itself the purchase of a finished product.

The physical rewards (the sleeve pack and the collector coin) are fulfilled through our Kickstarter campaign and ship with your game order. To receive them, you must back Pump & Dump on Kickstarter (that is, purchase the game), and the campaign must reach its funding goal. If you do not back the game, you keep your Founding Supporter status, but the physical rewards are not shipped.

Reward details, artwork, and timelines shown on the Site are indicative and may change as the project develops. The purchase of the finished game and any add-ons takes place later through our Kickstarter campaign.

5. Price & Refunds

The reservation price is shown in Euros (EUR) and includes any applicable VAT. No shipping charges apply at this stage, as nothing is shipped when you reserve.

As the reservation is a distance purchase, the following refund terms apply. To request a refund, contact us at info@auroralusus.com:

• Within 14 days of payment: you may withdraw for any reason and receive a full refund of your €3.
• After 14 days, before the Kickstarter campaign begins: you may still request a full refund of your €3 at any time.
• Once the campaign has begun: if you choose not to back the game, the €3 is non-refundable. It has secured your Founding Supporter status (which you keep) and the founder price on your reserved rewards.
• If the campaign does not reach its funding goal: we will refund your €3, less the payment-processing fees charged by our payment provider.

6. Payment

Reservation payments are processed securely by SumUp, our third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card details. Any later purchase made through Kickstarter is processed by Kickstarter under its own terms.

7. Reward Fulfilment

No physical goods are shipped when you make a reservation. Fulfilment of the game and rewards happens after our Kickstarter campaign and is handled through Kickstarter and its fulfilment process. Estimated dates are projections, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by manufacturing, customs, postal services, or other events beyond our control.

8. Crowdfunding Campaigns (Kickstarter)

Our game will be offered through a Kickstarter campaign. All pledges and transactions made through Kickstarter are subject to Kickstarter's Terms of Use in addition to these Terms. Crowdfunding pledges are contributions to support the development and production of a project.

Estimated delivery dates for crowdfunded products are projections, not commitments. We will keep backers informed of progress and any changes to the timeline through regular updates.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, logos, game designs, artwork, and branding — is the property of Aurora Lusus or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aurora Lusus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or the reservation.

Our total liability for any claim arising from a reservation shall not exceed the amount you paid. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. Kickstarter, Instagram, YouTube). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to your rights under EU consumer protection regulations.
